Since the new era most aesthetic education theories are constructed by taking the purpose of the aesthetic education as the logical start-point, which is over-idealistic, overlooking the analysis of the reality background on which aesthetic education theory based, and over-emphasized the aesthetic transcendence, having little influence on the reality. These theories absence of the analysis to the reality, therefore aesthetic education appears powerless to transform the reality. On such theories deviation, it is necessary to analyse the reality background and theory basis on which the contemporary aesthetic education theory based.In view of the fission of the humanity caused by the modern civilization, Schiller initially put forward the aesthetic education theory. Today certain western countries have already being entered into the developed industrial society, the issue which Schiller faced further developed into realistic overall alienation. From labor alienation to consume alienation, from politics alienation to culture alienation, the phenomenon of alienation has already permeated into various fields of social life. In the developed industrial society, human's labor has still not escaped the fate as a means of living, and the automation and the semi-automation of production make man appear weaker in the presence of machine. The improvement of productivity greatly satisfies man's material needs, and he crazily consumes to meet his false needs. The production and the consume make man feel exhaustion, while the rampant of mass culture affords him cheap snack to relax nerves, and in which requires no thinking, man secures a passive sense of happiness. With ruling by technical rationality, with controlling and dictating needs, with vulgarizing the culture, the stakeholders make man progressively lose the independence and the power to criticize, then become one dimensional man who only say "yes"to the reality.Art is to save man who is sucked down by the alienated reality. With its aesthetic transcendence, art is distant from, but at the same time reflects and critics of the reality. Through the formal content, art embodies its transcendence, criticism and the negativeness. It is the aesthetic form makes art as a self-contained whole to confront the realistic alienation. The mission of the art is to form a new consciousness, which including new sensibility and rationality. This kind of new consciousness helps man to realize the alienation essence of the reality and arouse man's impulses to criticize the reality and reform the society. China is still in the middle stage of the industrialization, but in today's globalization, the issue of alienation in it is also quite serious. Therefore, such kind of analysis is helpful to correct the deviation of the aesthetic education theory.
