Hegel's syllogism and Rodin's Art theory shows that Greek sculpture opened a new era of art and occupied an important position in art history. The most difference between Greek sculpture and later sculpture is harmony. The so-called harmony is different from political terms, it is mainly reflected that the unity of body and reason, form and content, human and nature, the aspiring of life and universe, the formation of golden section. The features of Greek classical sculpture have much to do with Greece's physical geography climate, thriving city-state civilization and philosophers'unremittin probing of philosophy. Through the long process of classical sculpture style formation, artists constantly summed up experience and constantly which had done a lot of innovation, so early period's stiff hands and feet finally let go step by step with the efforts of artists. The elegant S body type and balance against the stability finaly become a generation of aesthetic style, and eventually formed a peak of the art history and also formed a source of development of Western art."Laocoon" of Hellenistic period reached the peak of classical sculpture, so it is clearly art before "Laocoon" is a "more and more classical art", and then it became a "less and less classical art". The difference between those is the emergence of human nature, and in sculptur people aspire to show their human performance and self-awareness. But unfortunately, when Winkelmann pointed out "noble simplicity and serene greatness", he ignored it as a normal person's spiritual needs and his inner struggle. Similarly, Racine said that in order to avoid the ugly, when artists treat Laocoon's face they deliberately avoid he to cry. It is clearly that Racine did not interpret the reason from Laocoon the essence of life and didn't see Laocoon's limb movements liberation has become a symbol of free will. So in this way, we can say in the ancient Greek sculptures history. "Laocoon" is a work of particular significance, fanatical mind began to seek a breakthrough classic paradigm, the pursuit of his free will has burst on the scene emergence. In this sense, "Laocoon" has become a quietly turn of classical sculpture's collapse.Art is a reflection of reality. After the demise of the Greek and the disintegration of the democratic system, people began to perform their personality and self-awareness, so the 17-20 century's sculpture gradually go against the features of classical about harmony, the body become distorted, and people's mind is not quiet any more. Modern sculpture art use broken, symbol, three-dimensional experiments completely subvert the classical traditional, they became more and more emphasized about the human nature and passionate heart. The cost is that people can vent emotions better through these arts, while therir minds have not been properly nourished.Harmony is the cure of today's trauma. With the increasingly rapid pace of modern life, the problems of the lots of reality of life comes, and people is lonely and anxiety, so the whole community is now througing a huge trip. Although the modern sculpture emerged Rodin and Picasso, their works reflect the shortcomings of this era, point out issues. People who see these works can deeply thinking, but it can not calm down souls. Modern sculpture is good at formal articulation and emotion representation, then the Greek classical sculpture is more stress in nourishing people's hearts, and focus on understanding the nature of human life, focusing on religious beliefs. So we have to say Greece classical sculpture art is a more ideal kind of art.I am not simply want to return to the ancients. But when it comes to modern sculpture, we'd better not to add so many manic and twisted things in it. Sculpture should be more healthy, in line with people's visual aesthetic, on a harmonious way of art. Sculpture should be understand by people and let people see themself.
