The Study On The Discourse Function Of Limiting Turn Conjunction In Modern Chinese

Based on the analysis of "Danshi/Dan, Keshi/Ke, Buguo, Zhishi, Daoshi/Dao, Que"six groups of limiting class of turning point conjunction, by using Text Coherence Theory and the Theory of Focus, full text include the following aspects:First, analysis limiting class of turning point conjunction of modern Chinese in conjunction semantic and pragmatic. From the semantic point of view, the words were analyzed and explained the use of their match and were refered to that the kind of words semantically common characteristics and differences. Starting from the presupposition, the kind of words is given different presupposition and information by the speaker, in addition to the words different from the transition strength.Therefore the exchange of use of such words will change the semantics and information that speaker wants to express and affect the correct information.Second, by the use of the Theory of Focus to analysis, such words are the focus of the dominant marker labeled, and they are divided into front of the focus marker and rear of the focus marker. The focus is marked by contrastive focus, and is the tone of the focus, the strong focus. Comparison of their structure, focus content areas, the focus position were analyzed, and different levels of complex sentences and discourse analysis of focus come to different conclusions, while highlighting the focus of such terms shall have the functions and role of linking functions.Third, analysis the distribution of chapters of six group words to identify their distribution.Fourth, study interface methods in chapters of the kind of words from vocabulary and grammar of convergence. Lexical cohesion approach include re-use, synonym and match. Grammatical cohesion mainly include connecting clause to complex sentences, connecting the sentence to a sentence group, connecting paragraphs to chapter, only "Que" can not connect to form a sentence paragraphs chapter.
