The Study Of Gender Differences In Modern Chinese Communication

Language is the most important communication tool of human. Because men and women belong to different sub-cultural groups, the use of language in communication will inevitably show some differences.These differences may sometimes impede taking the communication activities smoothly in a variety of way.They or make misunderstanding while communicating with each other, and they may lead to communication conflicts. Therefore, we need to study the gender differences which men and women in the communication process have shown.From the sociolinguistic perspective, this article use theoretical analysis and social survey methods, in order to reveals the performance of gender differences which exist in the cross sexual communication in modern Chinese language communication environment. In addition to this, this article analysis the causes of differences, then it will furtherly explore the solutions of communication barriers which arises from the gender differencesThis article is divided into four parts.The first part, this article conducts review of Chinese gender differences in communication, describing the studies of this issue at home and abroad, it also involves the problems of current status which still exist.Then this paper defines the concepts involved.The second part, this article will draw on the research of social linguistics, social psychology linguistics, anthropology, sociology, communication science and other disciplines on the "Gender differences"; The research will learn Communication Gender differences in an objective description of the phenomenon from two aspects including the use of materials from the language and verbal communication.Specific to the level of language materials,it includes men and women's innate differences in speech, the difference in choice of words, and sentences in the choice of gender differences. The level of speech communication mainly survey and reveal from the amount of topic selection, conversational style, speech acts.Third, It will analyzes the causes of this communication phenomenons In this paper will shudy from three constraints, including physical characteristics, personality and social psychological aspects.The fourth part, This article will from the main effects of communication psychology due to gender communication, the overall smoothness due to communication activities, It will analyzes the existence of the phenomenon of the impact of communication.then it try to study communication failures, communication interruption, communication reveals which due to gender differences and the conflict caused by communication barriers, and strive to find solutions to communication barriers,in order to make the communication proceed smoothly.The Innovations of this paper are:First, the former research were less involved in the Chinese language, On the contrary, this article involve this,and especially it take the perspective of Chinese communication research on gender differences in language, then the study on " Gender differences" is more localized. Second, the material used in this appendix are from one year of social surveys conducted in person, there is some material for previous survey in recent years, so we have more objective conclusions of this thesis.This Significance of this study is listed below:from the perspective that "studies of gender communication" on the domestic use of language for communication ofgender differences in the phenomenon of multi-dimensional look and in-depth analysis, and try to find a solution due to communication of gender differences and the communication barriers,which is currently the corresponding stage of the gender language supplement.This article will take root in foreign soil of Gender Differences Research into Chinese soil, and it provide a new perspective to this dynamic, localization of the study, first it can help people to continue to study the phenomenon of communication of gender differences in Chinese circumstance in the provision of new theoretical perspectives, second it can help people to understand modern Chinese gender differences in communication, and provide us accurate understanding of the cause which opposite sex communication barriers in communication arise, we can find a solution to obstacles in time, so that communication will be proceed smoothly.
