The adjective is one of the important categories in Chinese vocabulary, which is divided into the natural adjective and the state adjective. Moreover, the state adjective consists of the partial official adjectives'(雪白,笔直)and the suffix attached ones(白皑皑)from the structure. However, the suffix attached adjective has a more colorful and complex constitution. But the academics conduct a less comprehensive study of it. Therefore, this article focuses on exploring these words and researching them.The suffix state adjective consists of the natural adjective and its suffix. There are different opinions about affix suffix. It's generally considered to be the root of the development of virtual come. It's not so easy to draw the boundaries between its roots and affixes. It's commonly believed that an affix should have these conditions: double application, semantic emptying, strong productivity and fixed word position. In fact, between the roots and affixes, there are some things named "Prefix", "Class Suffix" by 1v Shuxiang (a famous linguist). Given this tendency, this article will expand the scope of affixes, including the two classes mentioned.Suffix state adjective belongs to derivation words. After referring to Zhang Bin and Shao Jingmin etc, who work on the classification of the adjective, the article will be divided into the following categories.Firstly, the ABB type:reduplicated adjective suffix is after the natural adjective. According to A semantic features, such classes can be divided into the sense of smell, touch, color, aspect, physical appearance etc.; Secondly, the word"li" is added in overlapping syllables of the two-syllable adjectives, that is, Ali AB-type(例如:糊里糊涂)；Thirdly, ABCD type, including all infix-style state adjectives with four syllables. Such as, "A bu-XY-type","AXYZ" type,"ABXY" style.Vocabulary is a complex system. It reflects native thinking way, cognitive characteristics and cultural connotations most directly, sensitively and completely.(Feng Ying,2009) Suffix State adjective is not exceptional, too. It also has its cognitive significance.ABB-STYLE State adjectives, which hold lively rhythmic adjectives, consist of root morphemes and reduplicated suffixes. They represent special semantic meanings. Reduplicated suffixes added to an adjective constitute ABB-STYLE State adjectives, which shows degrees are lightened or worsened, salutations of endearment or aversion on one hand. On the other hand, many adjectives can constitute ABB style in Chinese. When people are producing ABB style adjectives, they always choose Chinese words being related to root morpheme and meaning as overlap suffix. The meanings of the overlapping suffix often occur in A root morpheme. Therefore, they often bring me cognitive feeling including vision touch, taste, smell and etc in order to build up the image sense greatly.The state adjective like A li AB-type retains its original meaning and often contains derogatory sense. It contains contempt, despise and the meaning of deny.Furthermore, it will has colloquial tendency with deepening level.These state adjectives of ABCD style are based on one word and attached the emotional color of like or dislike.Different human groups differ in the specific thinking way, such as images, abstract, logical thinking, especially in macro mode of thinking. The thinking way of the different nation does have some differences. The language (mainly discussing thinking can affect vocabulary) can reflect the different thinking way.Han's whole culture and philosophy stressed harmony, unity between people and society, natural harmony, up to the highest level of "the Overall of Heaven and Human", emphasizing the overall concept of universal connection. Such an epistemology is to stress intuitive, vivid, and emotionally in the methodology and vocabulary. Such an epistemology explained the problem by metaphor, symbolism, association, analogy method, the line of thinking would like to show the importance of the unity imagination, intuition. Therefore, the suffix state adjective reflected the characteristics of figurative, vague, subjective (or emotional), rhetorical.As to the grammatical function, the first of all it can do predicate. But it can not be generalized. The low-level degree adverbs like "a little/some" can modify suffix state adjective. This is because the level of suffix state adjective is higher instead of highest. That is why it has some compatibility with the low-level degree adverbs like "a little/some". But if the word itself is in a high-level degree, it is impossible to use like this. The interpretation of state adjective itself always indicates a certain degree.It shows that the talker is certain about the meaning and degree of the state adjective they used in their verbal conversation or expression activity when he chooses it. It will be inconsistency if we simply dismiss it. Therefore, state adjectives are different from description adjectives and it cannot be modified by the word "no".Most of the suffix state adjectives have descriptive function. This feature determines that it is often used to the literary and artistic works which are image infection-based, particularly works of children's literature. But the articles which are focused on the logical reasoning use less of such words. And they are often used in verbal environment instead of nonverbal environment. Moreover, these words are emotional intensity and rarely used with neutral meaning.Suffix state adjective has its own characteristics. From the semantic category, it shows certain degree, certain state, certain emotion and so on; from the expression function, the principle function of suffix state adjective is to describe. If such state adjectives may be used appropriately, they can make the language vivid and lifelike, provide with sense of image for physical figure, color, movement, and increase the effect of expression. This is the most significant features of these words. From the point of view of harmonization of syllables, these words can embody the Chinese characteristics of rhythm greatly. The Chinese value the dual and even syllables. Suffix state adjective of three syllables of ABB style are always use together in the articles which contain much lyrics, which embodies the symmetrical phonetic beauty of the Chinese.Although this paper approach the subject inadequately, by analyzing these types of words, getting a deeper understanding of such words can change that the Chinese lexicalization is at a low level, still help us study the development trend of Chinese vocabulary and in particular contribute to teaching, especially in foreign language teaching.
