This paper takes the adjective overlap in Nie Hai Hua as the research object,classified and counted the adjective overlap in the book,and discusses its syntactic function.The full text has five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction to the origin of the topic and a review of the research.This chapter summarizes the research status of the book Nie Hai Hua,and sorts out the research status of the scope,grammatical meaning and grammatical function of the adjectives.The second chapter divides the adjective overlap in the book into seven types:AA,AABB,ABB,ABCC,CCAB,ABAC and A li AB.And reclassified them according to their internal structure and morpheme meaning.The AA formula is divided into two categories:"monosyllabic adjective overlap' and "overlapping backward adjective"according to whether or not the word is overlapped.The latter is divided into two categories according to whether A is meaningful or not.AABB is based on whether AB is a word,which called AABB1 and AABB2;ABB is divided into four types:overlap,add-on,suffix and the special form when BA is a meaningful word.The analysis summarizes the characteristics and usage of each subclass and special in some subcategories.The third chapter discusses the syntactic function of adjectives.Adjectives can be used as subject,predicate,object,attributive,adverbial,complement,and independent sentence components in Nie Hai Hua.Among them,the most used cases are adverbials,followed by attributives,predicates,independent sentence components,objects,and subjects.The fourth chapter summarizes the characteristics of vivid adjective forms in Nie Hai Hua.The large number and high frequency of vivid adjective forms in the book can be a major feature.The vivid forms of adjectives in the book are also influenced by the vocabulary of Beijing dialect.In terms of style,the vivid forms of adjectives used in the written context of classical Chinese and in daily spoken conversation have their own characteristics.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Summarize the general idea and conclusion of the paper,put forward the limitations of the study,and reflect on the deficiencies of the paper.
