The Verb-copying sentence appear in Modern Chinese with increasing frequency, it is used frequently in all sorts of video media, internet and spoken language especially. Although the study of the Verb-copying sentence has made great progress, a little about the Verb-copying sentence teaching. There is no similar sentence structure in English, Korean, French, Japanese or other language, so the Verb-copying sentence is one of the difficulties in Chinese learning for foreign students, they use this sentence with deviations easily. For the sake of further realizing the status of the Verb-copying sentence in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, deduction,induction, analysis, investigation methods are adopted in the paper, we investigate the situation of the Verb-copying sentence in textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and related grammar. Then we anlyse the language materials of verb-copying sentences, the situation of questionnaire and deviations. Discussion the teaching method of the Verb-copying sentence in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and put forward some Suggestions. Firstly, the Verb-copying sentence should be explained specially rather than appear as examples in the Complement. Secondly, we should teach the sentence by stages, proceeding from the simple to the more complex. For pre-intermediate level students, the point is complement, so we will explain the Verb-copying sentence properly, which has the verb of one syllable, about learning or living, and "de" or "le" is front of the complement. For intermediate, we explain the common sentence, which also has the verb of one syllable, or separable verb-object verb, with the simple complement. We add special verb-copying sentences to advanced intermediate, and compare the Verb-copying sentence with Ba-Sentence. Then, we suggest the comparison method, the situational dialogs and video media are recommended as techniques. At last, our views, innovations.etc are stated at the end of this paper.
