The Chinese character is in world writing treasure house rare and beautiful flowers. Its old-established history, the unique configuration, the deep connotation have made the contribution for Chinese nation's prosperous and the development. Not only the Chinese character has recorded Chinese effectively, moreover using the glyph, the pronunciation, the meaning constitution's rhetoric of Chinese character has become a rhetoric art. The rhetoric of Chinese character plays an important role in the development of Chinese. For a long time, the domain of the rhetoric of Chinese character has not caused the academic circle widely to pay attention, even if involves the rhetoric of Chinese character, also the very few some people made the thorough discussion. In order to clearly recognize the rhetoric of Chinese character displays the function, this article plans in the riddle, the cell phone text messages,the advertising language (including advertising sings, the following to be called advertising language) aspects to make some positive and beneficial explorations.The main text altogether divides into five parts.The introduction part briefly describes the object of study, the selected angle and the use of the theories and the methods, the significance of the theoretical and the practical, and related literature review.The first chapter has studied in the rhetoric of Chinese character in the riddle:The rhetoric of glyph, pronunciation and meaning, and pointed out that the rhetoric of glyph is more prominent.The second chapter analyzed the cell phone text messages have also the rhetoric of glyph, pronunciation and meaning,its mainly manifestation:separation of Chinese character, increased the part, reduced the part, harmonic tone, the ryhme and so on.The third chapter has discussed the rhetoric of Chinese character in the advertising language, including the rhetoric of glyph, pronunciation and meaning,what is most prominent is the change the glyph, the harmonics and the ryhme.The fourth chapter utilizated comparison and analytic method, revealed the three aspects (riddle, cell phone text messages,advertising language) similarities and differences in the rhetoric of Chinese character.The fifth chapter researched on traces to its source, discussed that three aspects of the rhetoric of Chinese character (riddle, cell phone text messages,advertising language) on the mechanism of production.The conclusion part summarized three kinds of manifestations in the rhetoric of Chinese character, and have referred to the places of innovation in this article.
