Korean, a fully developed language in language sense, involves large quantities of adverbs, especially degree adverbs with a number of 103. The paper focuses on the classification and syntactic nature of the most frequently used degree advebs in Korean, such as (?) (?) (a little bit, quite, more, more, very, very, too, most) and soon.In the second part, degree adverbs of this kind are analysed from the perspective of meaning. The author classifies them first in degree and then meaning. Subsequently, the author does a profound research on the characteristics in meaning of degree adverbs based on the analysis of "(?), (?)(a little bit, very, most)which indicate different scales. The third part is mainly devoted to the profound research on the collocation and selective restriction, the syntactic status and function from the respect of syntax of degree adverbs. In the former, the collo-cation and selective restriction of those most frequent degree adverbs with other degree adverbs, verbs, nouns and articles;in the latter, their place in a sentence, their combined use with auxiliary words and the context are explored. In the four part, the research on the degree adverbs is summarized and problems to be solved in the future are raised. The research findings contribute much to the systematic research on the Korean degree adverbs. They can not only help the native Koreans with their research on Korean, but also foreign students with their study of Korean, and are of great referential significance to the Korean teaching at home.
