The Modelling And Aesthetic Study On The Stone Lion In The North Of Shanxi Province

The stone lion in the north of Shanxi Province, which has distinct traditional characters and regional features, is a part of Chinese traditional folk-culture. There will be a certain real meaning in studying its cultural content, aesthetic quality, and aesthetic value systematically.This paper concerns mainly on studying the modelling and aesthetics of the stone lion in the north of Shanxi Province. Firstly, it analyzes the general features on the aesthetic view of the Chinese stone lion. The great splendor state without a certain shape is the main character of Chinese stone lion which is under the influence of the ancient simple aesthetic points and the philosophical concepts. While for the art of the stone lion in the north of Shanxi Province belongs to the art of Chinese traditional culture, its implication and spirit are same. Secondly, its guidance influence on my approach to the relationship between the stone lion culture and the traditional Chinese culture, Sanqin culture, and folk art in the north of Shanxi Province. The stone lion in the north of Shanxi Province has distinct cultural feature and high value in history, culture and art. Finally, I discuss the generality and individuality of the stone lion in the north of Shanxi Province at the aspect of the enlightenment in the modern world.This paper studies deeply and systematically on the modelling and aesthetics of the stone lion in the north of Shanxi Province. Besides, it summarizes the simple, profound, and humble features of the stone lion in the north of Shanxi Province, and give evidence and theoretical support for studying the folk art and protecting the cultural in the north of Shanxi Province.
