A Study On The Application Of Chinese Folk Art In Animation Modelling Design

The subjects and contents of the Han dynasty stone portrait in Lishi,Shanxi Province are mostly drawn from the daily life of the Han people,and the picture contents mostly reflect the production and life scenes at that time.On this basis,stone portraits also have their own romantic color,adding rich imagination to common secular themes,fantasizing exotic beasts in the description of life,and constructing another “death as life” world in the ordinary,which provides rich and colorful materials and vast creative space for animation creation.This thesis mainly combines the animation short film ?Rebirth? created by the author to study the application of stone elements in the animation role modeling and scene modeling design of Lishihan Portrait in Shanxi Province,so as to explore the spiritual world of the ancients and feel the style of that era.This thesis describes the problems found in the animation design process of the animation short film?Rebirth?.Taking the Han Dynasty portrait stone unearthed from Lishi in Shanxi Province as an example,it puts forward some solutions for the application of Chinese folk art in animation design.As an excellent traditional folk art,Han dynasty stone portrait in Lishi,Shanxi province needs to be carried by the propaganda train of the new era,And Chinese animators are also exploring the nationalization of animation forms.The collision between the study of Han stone portrait and the study of animation performance in Shanxi Province not only finds a good way of propaganda for the art of Lishihan stone relief in Shanxi Province,but also is a beneficial attempt to explore the national style of animation in China.
