As Chinese traditional art pristine and symbolic element around the world Kun Opera plays an very important role. On May 18,2001 UNESCO firstly released a list of Human Oral and Intangible Heritage Chinese Kun Opera ranked the first, which was brought to the modern people especially the whole world from the bottom of Chinese ancestors.Kun Opera experineced 600 years of vicissitudes from her birthday to today's development. The mass media plays a key role on the historical inheritance and communication. However the changes of media enviroment caused by social transfomation directly influences and extends the communication forms and funtion of mass media. The emergence of electronic media and the prevalence of Internet has brought the contemporary communication of Kun Opera a qualitative leap and has achieved a multiple integration of main media such as books, newspapapers, radio, television, network. Mass media at present is characteristic of distinct times. Specifically the text form of Kun opera is a practical problem worthy to analyse deeply. The prevalence of visual culture, the worship of cultural idols and assignment of consumption meaning make the contemporary communication Of Kun Opera created by mass media be three-dimensional, diversified and globalized.Anyway inferiority of mass media has been a threat to the bottom line of the elite culture all the time. Meanwhile the mass media has a long-tail effect, Kun Opera should be clear about the negative impacts of media mechanical reproduction, entertainmental vulgar and capital flattering and these negative impacts would be killed on the early stage of mass communication. The final object is to implemente the perfect marriage of the contemporary culture of Kun Opera and the mass media which on the one hand is to protect the elite communication of minority art, on the other hand is to popularize the public symbols. In the near future Kun Opera must be a rare flower famous from all over the world.
