Research On The Visual Working Memory Affect The SNARC Effect

Elana S Radouane etc use ERP experiment to check the experimental results of Fischer2003 .It found that the SNARC effects maybe involving working memory. And one of the result of Amparo Herrera'study is that in visual working memory experiment conditions have obvious SNARC effect.Therefore, our study in no load and load visual working memory experimental condition experimentize to study whether the SNARC effect affected by visual working memory.In experiment 1, asked the participants to judge the present number larger than five or smaller than it which randomly present either in left or right square frame, including 1-9 except 5.In the first task participants were required to press J Keyboard if the present number larger than 5 ,if it smaller than 5 press Keyboard F. On the contrary, the second task larger press Keyboard F, smaller press Keyboard JIn the experiment 2, either in left or right square frame appear number 1-9 except 5. First, the participants were asked to judge Whether the tragic number appear in the same position with the prompt ,if they were in the same position do nothing; if not make reaction . In the first task participants were required to press J Keyboard if the present number larger than 5 ,if it smaller than 5 press Keyboard F.
