The Study On The Relationship Between Time Management Disposition And Life Satisfaction Of Postgraduate Students

The time management disposition is a kind of personality characteristic, which reflects individuals treat the function and value of time.It's psychological and behavioral characteristics which is shown by the way that individuals use his time. Life satisfaction is a comprehensive judgement of their own lives,which belonging to the cognitive aspects of Subjective well-being (SWB), but independent of it's positive affect and negative affect. Life satisfaction is the most important index of SWB.600 postgraduate students from Soochow Universities were measured on their time management disposition and life satisfaction by questionnaire.The results are demonstrated as following:Time management disposition of the Postgraduate Students had medium degree. There are significant differences in the general time management disposition and some dimensionality of postgraduate students in gender,major,grade,and whether even worked or not.The difference whether serving as student leaders didn't achieve significance level .Compared with students ,the general life satisfaction of postgraduate students is slightly lower. There are significant differences in the general life satisfaction and some dimensionality of postgraduate students in gender,major,grade,and whether serving as student leaders The difference whether even worked or not didn't achieve significance level .The correlation of the postgraduate students'time management and life satisfaction was positive and achieved significance level. Time management disposition can predict their life satisfaction,but the predicting ability is minor.
