Research On The Relation Between Critique Of Religion And Historical Materialism

The proposition that Critique of Religion Is a Critical Prerequisite for all other of Marx give expression to critical theory of religious thought in Marx's position and role, is an integral part of Marx's philosophical revolution, embody a special theoretical and practical significance. As we all known, religion is not the substance of Marxist theory and religious criticism is not the center of Marx's philosophical critique. However, the things that Marx's special Jewish family background, deep feelings of Christianity in youth and the subsequent intense criticism of religious, not only provides a rich intellectual resources for us to study Marx's critical theory of religion, but also can trigger people's thinking to a series of transformation of Marx's Weltanschauung.This paper, Marxist critical theory of religion as a starting point, based on the Marx Text, by dint of systematic studying Marx's critical theory of religion, attempts to explain the role of critique of religion in the formation of Marxist historical materialism. Therefore, this article first comb the background of Marx's critical theory of religion to incorporate it into the entire system of western philosophy, and then discusses the role of Marx 's critical theory of religious in the transformation of his Weltanschauung, especially in the process of revealing historical materialism. We believe that the critical theory of religion provides us with a valuable visual angle of understanding Marx's thought.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction. It briefly discusses the significance an innovation of this paper.The second part presents the background and theoretical origins of Marx's critical theory of religion. This part introduce the ancient Greek and Roman atomic materialism, French atheism in the eighteenth century and the representative critical attitude to religion in young Hegelian to serve as a foil to formation of Marx 's view of religion.The third part elaborates the formation of Marx's critical theory of religion. This part discusses the development of Marx's religious views step by step from the middle school until German Ideology in 1846 and The Communist Manifesto in 1847.The fourth part explanation the relationship between the critical theory of religion and the basic concepts of historical materialism in Marxist theory. This part research he relationship between the critical theory of religion and economic base and superstructure, productive forces and production relations in the historical materialism.The last part represents the role of Marx's critical theory of religion in the historical materialism. While critiquing religion, Marx concerned about the problem of people and revealed the position of the historical materialism. The process of Marx's exploring the religious nature is a microcosm process of his creating the historical materialism.
