At the current time of the traditional opera industry suffering from the impact of other modern forms of entertainment, the styles of traditional opera communication are increasingly diverse accompanied by the emergence of the pattern of multi-media co-existence. The traditional opera communication media develop from the situation of dominating by the radio and television in the nineties to the contemporary situation of multimedia coexistence such as newspapers, radio, television, Internet and mobile phone. However, what impacts on the opera have been made by these diverse media, and what problems have emerged in the dissemination process? Let us do some deep analysis and study taking one of the fairly representative media as well as one of the programs as a starting point. Of course, the program of "Li Yuan Chun" in Henan TV should be one of the typical cases in the traditional opera communication from the perspective of the time span and the dissemination results.The program of "Li Yuan Chun" in Henan TV was born in October 1994 bearing the responsibility on their own initiative of spreading drama arts and promoting the traditional culture, which has gone through ups and downs in 15 years, from immature to mature and then gradually tends to glory and not only develop their own brand, but also lead the ratings of the entire TV channel. In the past time of 2009 when the program has been founded for 15 years, the average annual TV viewing at the provincial level ranked in the top six, which should be regarded as a TV rating myth of TV drama and even the various TV comprehensive entertainment programs.It is said that the combination of television and the traditional opera is to give the traditional opera a pair of E-wings, which provides the most effective medium for the traditional opera to contact viewers closely in a new way. The art of the traditional opera achieves a win-win situation for the marriage of television and the drama with its own concentrated deep national culture genes and the ancient as well as elegant art. The traditional opera enrich the TV screen, at the same time of the television making contributions for the times to spread and promote the traditional opera art. However, the program of "Li Yuan Chun" as a television drama section inevitably has been some problems in the communication process of pursuing TV ratings, and has especially made a negative communication effect for the opera itself caused by the clip communication of the opera art. This paper will do some analysis and study on the traditional opera communication under the domain of the multimedia taking the program of "Li Yuan Chun" as a beginning point.The full text is divided into four parts of introduction, body and surplus. The introduction section provides an overview of modern opera spread throughout the development process, reviews the status quo and make a brief analysis, and state the research value and innovations in this paper.The body is divided into four chapters to set up the statement.Chapter I: The cultural origins and social background of the program of "Li Yuan Chun"----- thick Central Plain culture and the arts with a long history of opera providing a wealth of material, both the support of the Government and the people's call on the local culture forming the success factor.Chapter II: Analyze the program of "Li Yuan Chun" from the view of the transmission chain of "objects of dissemination --- contents of dissemination --- results of dissemination". The contents of dissemination are the diverse patterns with the core of the opera and the package full of dramatic elements; the objects of dissemination analyze audience composition of the program of "Li Yuan Chun"; the results of dissemination are playing the function of TV's "making stars", and increasingly forming the brand and industries of the program of "Li Yuan Chun".Chapter III: From the art characteristics of the opera dissemination contents to analyze the problems and negative impacts existing in the program of "Li Yuan Chun", especially the fragmentation spread of the opera art caused by the communication form of "ring game".Chapter IV: Put forward proposals to solve the problem caused in the process of the integration of the opera and the modern media: Traditional opera communication under the domain of the Multimedia especially the TV drama should look for the balance of entertainment and artistic taste of drama, and take advantage of the multi-media to realize the desired effect of the opera spread on the basis of developing the advantages in the integration of audio-visual sense.
