The Double Ninth Festival, as a traditional Chinese festival, not only reflects the traditional Chinese culture's emphasis on time and seasons and the strong sense of life, but also has strong humane significance. This paper, combining the historical background of Song Dynasty, trying to analysize the folk customs, lyrical themes, cultural implications, methods of expressing emotion in the Ci poem about Double Ninth from the perspective of folk customs and cultural significance.Chapter I gives a brief description of the origin and evolution of Double Ninth Festival, the main folk festival activities of the Double Ninth Festival before Song Dynast.
