"Mei Ge" is a folk tunes of the Luoluopo and Lipo branches of the Yi nationality,meaning to sing history.It is circulated in Yao'an,Dayao,Yongren and other counties in Chuxiong,Yunnan.Broadly speaking,"Mei Ge" is a folk tunes of the Yi nationality.In a narrow sense,"Mei Ge" is the core part of the epic whose content is relatively fixed and cannot be played freely.It is called the "root spectrum" of the Yi nationality.Since the collection and compilation of the epic "Mei Ge" in 1959,it has aroused the attention of all circles of society.Scholars have studied "Mei Ge" from different disciplines and perspectives.It mainly includes the introductory research of "Mei Ge",the text analysis of "Mei Ge",the musical study of "Mei Ge",the comparative study of "Mei Ge" and the protective research of "Mei Ge".The subjects of the study "Mei Ge" include linguistics,anthropology,musicology,and folklore.However,most of the research from the perspective of folklore studies on one or more specific folk customs such as primitive religious beliefs,totem worship,marriage customs,and flood myths.The comprehensive and systematic research results on folk items in "Mei Ge" have not yet been seen.In addition,there are few studies on the interaction between folklore and "Mei Ge" in the inheritance and development,and it is relatively simple.This paper focuses on systematically discussing the folklore in "Mei Ge",analyzes the functions of these folk cultures,and then combines Bourdieu's "field-habitus" theory to explore the relationship between "Mei Ge" and the folk custom field.Relationship,and put forward feasible suggestions for the inheritance and protection of "Mei Ge".The first chapter introduces the background,significance,methods and content of the research,focusing on the research of "Mei Ge".The second chapter mainly discusses the "Mei Ge" and the folk beliefs of the Yi nationality.It is divided into two parts: totem worship and folk religious beliefs.The third chapter analyzes the relationship between "Mei Ge" and the four folk festivals of the Yi nationality-the Flower Arrangement Festival,the Hulusheng Festival,the Tiger Festival and the Torch Festival.The fourth chapter discusses the "Mei Ge" and the Yi people's life rituals.Funeral and wedding are two important fields that Meige inherits,representing the sanctuary and the vulgar domain.The fifth chapter mainly introduces the material production and living folk customs of "Mei Ge" and the Yi nationality.Folklore of material production includes hunting and animal husbandry,agricultural folklore,artisan folklore,and material life folklore including diet,clothing,and residential folklore.The sixth chapter analyzes the functions played by the folk culture in Mei Ge,mainly explaining,regulating,maintaining and regulating the four functions.The seventh chapter analyzes the causes of the "Mei Ge" crisis,puts forward the thinking and prospect of the inheritance and protection of "Mei Ge",and discusses the inheritance and protection of the folk art field and "Mei Ge" from the "field-habitus" theory.
