A Study On The Relations Between The Father And Son In Lu Xun's Novel

This article relates Lu Xun's novel by the angle of relations between the father and son .Analyzing the contradictory between the father and son, we knows Lu Xun's manner to the Chinese traditional culture and the modern culture. This article is divided into four parts besides the introduction and conclusion.The first chapter mainly researches and analyzes Lu Xun's father complex and cultural meaning. Lu Xun's father complex is revealed by the love and hates which were two kinds of color from Lu Xun to his father, the love to father was builded on blood relationship, but to father's hatred was in cultural meaning, is the hatred from the new culture to the old culture. Lu Xun criticized the father traditional culture through the novel by shaping the father's description.The second chapter mainly researches and analyzes the relations between the father and son in the family through Lu Xun's novel.The Chinese tradition of family was setted up according to the Confucianist ethics morals, the father is the key person in family, the relations of family all take the father as the center, having formed one kind of father's system oo right. The family is the place where the annihilation generation individuality is killed and is the founder who made the double's thought. The subject of "Diary of a Madman" is that sub-generation revolts are against the father.The third chapter mainly researches and analyzes the destiny of the neutron generation lacking the father through Lu Xun's novel. The relations between sub-generation and father are the relations between modern culture and the traditional culture, the modern culture leaves the womb of the traditional culture, its growth needs the traditional culture's support. After sub-generation flees the father, they had three kinds of destiny, it either paces back and forth between the new and old cultural environment, or loafs in the cultural vacuum, or died in lonely. The fourth chapter mainly researches and analyzes the imagination about the love's order of between father and son. Lu Xun uses the thought of"the universal love"to adjust the rank order between father and son, the fathers and sons should be the affection mutually. Lu Xun thought the new style father should have the spirit of"benefits him", who guides generation positively, lets the sub-generation healthly grow, this also is the hope which the new culture grows.
