A Study On Symmetric And Asymmetric Of "Chang/duan"

based on millions of corpus , we found that"chang / duan"exist the phenomenon of symmetry and asymmetry, and there is a certain regularity. This paper chose the antonyms"chang / duan"as research objects, and used markedness theory, Cognitive Grammar theory, and "Three plane" theory as a guide, we made a investigation and further explanation, and described a law of the symmetry and asymmetry.Article content has the following five components:Firstly aimed at the related mark theory, the antonym asymmetrical as well as assymetrical research of the specific glossary, This article has carried on the summary and introduced some theory method which this article had to use , including mark theory, cognition theory, three plane theory method and so on.In lexical level,"chang"and"duan"is asymmetry. The chapter mainly analyze the"chang""duan"symmetric and asymmetric from semantically: the first is form symmetry .it incluld form symmetry and significance symmetry; form symmetry and significance assymmetry. the second is form assymmetry .it include having"chang"and having not"duan";having"duan"and having not"duan". We combine corpus on these two conditions for a specific analysis. At the same time, we also found a"chang"Word-building capacity is greater than the"duan", frequency of the use of"chang"is more than the"duan"and so on .In the phrase level,"chang"and"duan"is asymmetry. From the"chang""duan"can modified noun, verb, and adverbs,we also combined with a rich corpus of these three conditions for a specific analysis, and sort the corpus.In syntactic constituents level,"chang"and"duan" is asymmetry. Its symmetry is"chang"and"duan" can be used as subject, predicate, object, attributes, and complement;the asymmetry is some as predicates position can only be a "chang"; some as predicates position can only be a "duan";"chang chang""chang chang de"can adverbial, but"duan duan" "duan duan de " cannot, etc.Finally we analysis the "chang/duan" the antonym of asymmetric from internal and external perspectives .The"chang"and "duan" form a antisense systems, at the same time, the"chang"and "ai ", "shao" constituted an antisense systems, "duan" and "duo""gao"constitutes an antisense systems, this will make the"chang"and "duan" rendering out asymmetric phenomenon.
