Qinhuangdao is located in Jilu Mandarin, in where the dialect of Qinhuangdao shows some differences on mandarin, adjacency dialects, and internal dialects. It can reflect the development and the changes of language so that it is worthy of research. The study focuses on the voice phenomenon of Qinhuangdao dialect. Though carrying out a comprehensive and considerate investigation, it is possible to grasp a large number of verbal materials. It takes a deep describing and analysis between dialect and mandarin, dialect and ancient speaking or the other comparing, comparing their differences. So this study contains three parts:The first one is overview. Firstly, it introduces the Qinhuangdao area profiles, including the situation and the historical evolution. Secondly, it introduces the features of Qinhuangdao dialect, especially in its voice. Then, it introduces the research quo, the research achievement, the focus, and some problems on Qinhuangdao dialect. Finally, it introduces the information of the survey and the pronunciation collaborators.The second part is the researching of the mixed reading between initials"f"and"x". Section one generally explains the mixed reading between"f"and"x", according to the differences of the mixed reading in survey sites. It is classifies the mixed reading into three types, i.e. the same with mandarin, the characters which speak"f"in mandarin are instead of"x"in dialect, and the characters which speak"x"in mandarin replaced by"f"in dialect. Section two discusses the two types of mixed reading between"f"and"x"respectively. Firstly, this paper analyses the phenomenon of mixed reading feature, including the following parts: the mixed reading characters also related with the ancient voice, modern finals and the phrase because of the differences degrees of mixed reading and particular characters. And then through historical comparing, the author summarizes the evolution rule and the reason for dialect development.The third part emphasizes the"ts, t"group mixed reading. Section One makes a general description on the mixed reading between"ts,t"group. Compared with mandarin,"ts, t"is separated into three groups of mixed reading. The first is the same with mandarin. The second, the"ts"group in mandarin is sounded"t"group in dialect. The third is the mixed reading of"ts,t"group. Section Two discusses the two types which are different from mandarin in dialeet.Seetion Three takes a historieal eomParison of"ts,t"grouP mixedreading. In Section Four Qinhuangdao dialect is compared with neighboring dialects.The eonelusion Part mainly reveals the researeh value ofthis thesis,and Points out someunresolved Problems,for ProPosing the goal of future researeh.
