Caozhi , as the most famous writer in Jianan period in Chinese history, was micromouse in six dynasties with his excellent literary talent, and eye-catching with his status of distinguished pendragon. Later, he was almost fallen into prisoner for several times because of loss of power in the conflict of striving to be crown prince, pensive all night and day, and passed away with wholehearted grief in the end. Just as Caozhi's special literary talent and his special backgrand, historical writers have researched into his works with great enthusiasm, made great achievements as well. Starting by research of the characters in Caozhi's prose poems will contribute to knowing about the author himself comprehensively, so as to more comprehensively understand a deeper level of cultural connotations from the characters'image who were characterized by him.Writers'specific life experience is bound to be reflected to the image of characters'in their works. In the different images of characters or imagery image as metaphor, we can always see the author's shadow, which is speaking and acting on behalf of the autor himself. And this was the reason that, it is a must which will roughly divide and classify the image of characters from Caozhi's poems. This article will discuss about the characters'image from Caozhi's poems by three parts.1. The images of Women in Caozhi's poems. In Caozhi's poems, not many images of women are not written about. But these images of characters have a common feature which is beautiful, weak, intelligent and resent rather than angry, and which was determsined by his milky character, embarrassing royal status as well.2. Multi-dimensional images of scholars. In this part, you can see different images of Caozhi. For example, he was not only favored, envied but flaunt for his talent, but scholar-bureaucrats'venturing out, emotion re-defined passionate scholars. What is more, he was the images of repeated relegation, fallen hero who wanted to serve the country but no chances. Getting these images together will really be able to reflect Caozhi's multiple characters.3. The portrayal of characters by typical imagery. By means of the portrayal of characters, the images of characters were shaped by expressing personal like and dislike, reflecting the depression from his deep heart.
