With the further attention about popular culture in domestic school, Gramsci's ideas followed into the field of Chinese Literary Theory. Chinese literary theory circles has changed the negative attitude to popular culture Originally inspirited by Gramsci's "Nation-the people" literary thought and bring into the view of academic research. Meanwhile, Theorists and critics strive to promote the development of Chinese popular culture with Nationality and the people for accepting Gramsci's theory of Cultural hegemony in order to resist t over infection on Chinese popular culture by western culture; What'smore, they Spread out extensive theory research, try to form popular culture with Chinese characteristic and construct popular culture theory With nationalization in china.The concept of "Nation-the people" indicated that Gramsci hold the view of totality and integrity to new literature which has the same strain with the people of Aesthetics of Marxism and opened the unique perspective of popular culture in Western Marxism. Gramsci put forward the view about ideological principles of literary criticism based on the "Nation-the people" literary thought.Gramsci's "Nation-the people" literary thought has a lot of inspiration on the development of Chinese popular culture.The value of popular culture is entertainment, enjoy, relaxation and consumption at first. However,there cannot be without aesthetic standards in judging the value of popular culture. Also, literary theory and culture criticism should not give up this form but give the value judgements with law and purpose. As the process of Chinese cultural industry and the further development of popular culture, Gramsci's "Nation-the people" literary thought will have a lot of inspiration.
