The Narrative Mode Of Chinese Reportage In The New Century

Narratology in the West have been for almost 40 years, and formed many schools, the study including literature began to pay attention to all kinds of narrative. With the recent years, studies of native narratology set a new upsurge, to reportage critics by narrative theory began to be known, and there have been some exploratory attempts. The domestic reportage research work by narratology focused on a article, especially for the article from the master, but the spiritual content and social commitment for the reportage is focus as usual.To study reportage of the new century, for the correct understanding of history and current situation of Chinese reportage, achievements and status, could be of great significance. Since the new century, the reportage work frequently lead to social unrest and re-thinking, not by chance and not individual phenomenon, its reportage itself to follow the internal laws of development, and also to be an important symbol of the new stage of its development. Narrative research on reportage in the new century finds out China's current documentary feature of literature. It will be positive significance to deepen and expand the narrative study of reportage.Structure of narrative article would be divided into three levels by Genette, the master of narrative, story, narrative (text), narrative acts. This paper based on this theory, intended to be narrative perspective, narrative time, narrative structure as the theoretical framework to study the contents reportage in the new century, text, structure and construct way to sum up the characteristics of its narrative.This first part of the paper pays attention to narrative perspective of reportage in the new century. The authenticity of the reportage has limited narrative perspective, but it is this restriction to make narrative perspective as an important narrative language, the use of different angles has set different aesthetic effect.The second part is the narrative time of the reportage in the new century. Narrative perspective focus on the point of appears, and the narrative time is focused on the gap between the actual text and the social, this gap will be reflected the timing of specific, time-distance and frequency of the three aspects of narrative.The third part is the narrative structure of the reportage in the new century. Compared to the two parts mentioned the narrative structure is a more macro-narrative analysis. Reportage as a narrative discourse, the narrative is to organize by some way, will form the narrative structure of some models. This part of the discussions, in addition to involving the traditional line model to distinguish the structure, summed up three structural models in the reportage creation that would be the panoramic style, the collection style and the vertical style, and pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of the three styles which can not be the universal narrative mode of reportage.
