A Research On Building Names Which Containing The Chinese Word "HE" (和)

"HE" (和)is one kind of ideal state which the Chinese people always pursue, which has congealed rich implication in the long history, and also had profound influence on the names Chinese construction. The thesis, with its research object as the building names which containing the Chinese word "HE", first carries out a source analysis simply, then make a comprehensive analysis of its pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar. Finally to deeply excavate the cultural connotation of buliding names.The thesis includes four chapters:Chapter 1 A brief introduction to the research situation, object, content, goal, significance, language materials collection and research methods of the thesis.Chapter 2 Through analysis on the collected date, we found that the main source of the building names which containing the Chinese word "HE" come from place names, company names, idioms and blessing, and so on.Chapter 3 This part used the quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze these building names from the syllable number, syllable rhythm, tonal pattern, rhetoric, and grammatical structure of the special names and general words.Chapter 4 From the following three aspect, China traditional culture, the building culture, the social psychology and social culture, this part of the present paper does culture analysis of these building names.Conclusion This part is a summary of the main points of the thesis.
