Orientation Of Book Design And Design Research

Although this is a rapidly developing multimedia age now, book still plays an important role in commercial information age due to its unique visual language and characteristic cultural identity. At present, concept of book binding has already grown into overall book design, and developed further in the environment of market economy under the influence of planning orientation theory of modern design. As a result, concept of book design has evolved into book planning design including market concept. It is hoped that research of this subject starts from the relationship between book orientation and design, combines practical experience in book design and discusses book design from the aspect of orientation, in order to form a way of thinking about modern book design, as well as methods that are worthy of practical application, which will have a certain enlightening value to the further development of book design in the future.
