The New Archaeology Discovery And Related Issues On XinLe Upper Layer Culture Of Shenyang Urban District

Xinle Upper Layer Culture is a Early Bronze Age culture, which was first discovered in 1973.It was named because it was found in the upper layer of shenyang xinle site. The xinle upper layer culture distributed mainly in Liaohe River and its tributaries:Hunhe, Puhe, Taizihe. Shenyang urban district is located in the middle area of liaohe downstream in the north east of liaoning province,it is the central area of xinle upper layer culture.Over the years, because of lack materials, and the complex types of archaeological cultures around Shenyang made the academia have different opinions about the appearance of xinle upper layer culture. There are three main ideas together.The first view is that the xinle upper layer culture, including Shenyang Xinle upper layer culture, Benxi Machengzi culture, Fushun Wanghua culture type,Kangping Shunshantun culture type, Faku Wanliu remains, Shenyang Laohuchong culture type. Xinle upper layer culture existed together with Gaotaishan culture, roughly the same decades, the main culture developed into the Xituan Mountain Culture.The second view is that the Gaotaishan culture in Liaohe downstream region evolved into Shunshantun culture type, and further developed into xinle upper layer culture, and the Xinle upper layer culture have relationship with Xituanshan culture and Baijinbao culture.The third view is that after Gaotaishan culture,the Liaohe area was differentiated into several culture remains:Shunshantun culture type,Xinle upper layer culture, Faku Wanliu remains, Sujiatun Laotuchong culture type.They were about the same age but have different appearance. Fushun Wanghua relics and related remains should be included into Xinle upper layer culture.This paper is based on previous studies, integrated and analyzed the newly discovered materials in the urban cultural sites recent years,and studied the materials preliminarily in section. Subsequently, combined results of the latest survey on cultural relics to form a understanding of xinle upper layer culture distribution,and compared it with archaeological cultural types in surrunding areas.after the comparative analysis, summarized the xinle upper layer culture system,and investigated the origin of xinle upper layer culture. Then, combining the discovery materials,studied the economic form and political life and families of xinle upper layer culture.This article is divided into six parts.Part I: Introduction. Introduced xinle upper layer culture briefly,and the reasons and purpose of choicing shenyang urban district as entry point.Part II: Past discoveries and studies. Describes the discoveries in the past and present research status.Part III: New Discoveries and heritage survey status. Introduced new discoveries and heritage survey status in shenyang urban district during recent years,and integrated and analyzed the excavation materials. Part IV: Division and comparison of newly found materials. Through the comparision of layer relations and characteristics of objects, the newly found materials is divided into early stage and late stage. Combined with the understanding of xinle upper layer cultural distribution,compared with fushun wanghua culture type, faku wanliu remains, shenyang laohuchong culture type, kangping shunshantun culture type and machengzi culture, it comes out that above culture type should be one culture system.Part V: Origin of culture. Combining the understanding of newly found materials, explored the origin of xinle upper layer culture,with reference to previous research results, discussed the developing direction of this culture.Part VI: Related problems. Based on the recognition of xinle upper layer culture system, discussed the economic form and political life and families of this culture.
