Chinese-language Cinema, not only in industry operation and media reporting, but also in academic discussion and theory construction, is a remarkable fact, a novel culture value and a national film symbol that becoming dominated gradually.The history of Chinese-language Cinema concept is only a decade since its debut to bloom, but its nomination validity and theory vitality are becoming more and more obvious. Chinese-language Cinema covers the films of Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as the films community among overseas Chinese, and its central idea is pursuing similarity in language and culture, and disregarding discrepancy in politics and geography. Chinese-language Cinema becomes appealing so rapidly because it stems from ideological trend of culture integration, identical culture deposits, and the strategy towards film globalization, but it also depends on the rhetoric function of Chinese-language concept, industry interaction, and culture identity in psychology.As nomination theory is explored deeply and reflected clearly, and other related concepts are cleaned up, a new film theory will be formed and obtains attention and discussion from various circles.
