Gansu province lies in the northwest of China, where brings up lots of Muslims from different minority groups, and the way they believe in Islam or Islamic sects they choose is also with great varieties. Besides from Sunism followers, there are quite many Sufism followers. Sufism,Sunism and Shiahke are the three main sects in Islam, and Sufism used to play very important role in the developing of Islam, some famous Sufi groups which formed in history are still enlivening throughout the world. As soon as the Sufism have been preached in northwest of China, local Muslims accepted it and carry out the Sufism rules and traditions. With the influence of traditional Chinese culture, Sufism in China gradually formed into different menghuan with strong brand of Chinese culture. Jahriyya menhuan is one of them, it is a Chinese branch of Naqshbandi Sufi group, which is known for advocating the vocal (rather than silent) dhikr (invocation of the name of God). The founder of Jahriyya menhuan was Ma Ming Xin, he spent long time studying in Yemen of the theory of Naqshbandi Sufi theory, and return to China for preaching it.Jahriyya menhuan is an very important Sufi branch in China, had great influence and lots of followers from Gansu,Ningxia and Xinjiang. However the study of Jahriyya menhuan is still not thorough enough so that many academic problems left unsolved, such as Yemen Naqshbandi's pedigree problem and the problems of Ma Ming Xing's abroad study experience. The academic circles don't have any proper conclusion for that. This treatise mainly attends to compare and analyze different materials and will work out in two main subjects, first research the Yemen Naqshbandi's pedigree and identify all the Yemen Naqshbandi Sufi masters in the pedigree. Secondly, some dissertation will be made about the studying experience of Ma Ming Xin. The new point of this treatise is that before Ma Ming Xin got back to China, he had a long time experience studying in Central Asia and Xinjiang region. At last a conclusion will be given out.
