The story is mainly about the real fight between black cattle and the white colonialist, exposing The African culture, and combat the breaching of humanitarian law of the slave-retailing colonial policy in the capitalist class circle. Merimee's novel is the masterpiece of the diasporic literature. As the key concept of the contemporary criticism theory, diasporic literature is the hottest utterance, the most attractive focal spot.With the diasporic problem becoming the focus of contemporary criticism theory, as the masterpiece of the diasporic literature, the two novelists'novels have a great high value in study. The diasporic consciousness is consciously revealed in there novels, and they pay a big attention to the culture that under the empire utterances, It gave us an unlimited considerable space today with the westem literatural criticism really prevailing. So I am trying to analyse the space structure-"ship", which is all applied in these two novels with the diasporic consciousness offenbarened in both of the two novels as the key point. Because the "ship" signifies flout, as well as the countless diaspora who are wafting without home. Both of the two novels are narrating the stories on the ship, no matter it's a ship retailing the black cattle or a ship which is used for stealing into another countries, it always reflects the bitter journey of the displaced people, in this point "ship" plays a great important roles in diasporic novels.In today's world in which multi-culture coexists, the research on diasporic literlature will be a very important part of the comparative literature.
