In daily life,people learn to social relationships intentionally or unintentionally.Under the repeated experience of the day after tomorrow and the long-term influence of the national culture,many fixed social relations patterns are stored in long-term memory in the form of structural patterns.Among them,the triadic relations formed between the three actors is the simplest,most important,and most essential micro-social structure.Exploring the cognitive processing mechanism of the triadic relationship may have certain theoretical and practical significance for the family structure and macro-social structure.A large number of studies have found that the social structure of Chinese and Western cultures has certain differences.Chinese culture is more inclined to the cycle structure than the Western linear structure in the processing of the triadic thematic relations.For example,"Tang monk holds the Goku","Goku hits the monster",and "the monster catches the Tang monk".That is to say,when the Chinese judge the relationships between the triadic objects,they tend to have the characteristics of the cycle transitive structure of A?B,B?C,and C?A.It is not a linear transitive structure like A?C in the Western cultural context.Through the behavioral research and ERP technology,this study uses the double lexical decision task priming paradigm of Chwilla and Kolk(2005),and explores the separation effect of the circular structure and the linear structure from the two aspects of behavioral performance and physiological mechanism,which may reveal the social structure.Cultural differences in schema processing.Study 1: When the 400 ms presentation time is used,the processing differences under the four conditions of cycle structure,linear structure,cycle-independent and linear-independent are discussed.The results show that both the cycle structure and the linear structure have priming effects,and the cycle structure reacts significantly faster than the linear structure,and the processing of the cycle structure and the linear structure is separated.This shows that the cycle structure and the linear structure processing belong to two different processing processes,and the Chinese have thedominant effect of the cycle structure processing.Study 2: When the 350 ms presentation time is used,the difference between the cycle and linear structure and the local processing in the case of early coding time reduction is discussed,and the overall characteristics of the cycle structure processing are further investigated.The results show that the cycle structure has a priming effect,while the linear structure has no priming effect.This suggests that the initiation of a cycle structure may be an overall prime,while a linear structure may rely on local processing.Study 3: Using event-related potential techniques(ERPs)to further investigate the ERP features of cycle structures and linear structures.The results of EEG showed that the linear structure induced a larger P200 wave than the cycle structure in the P200 time window;the N400 time window showed a reversal phenomenon,that is,the cycle structure induced a larger N400 wave than the linear structure;Reverse again in the P600 time window.The EEG data further provides evidence for the processing differences and dissociation of cycle and linear structures,further verifying that the cycle structure is a holistic and automated process at an early stage,and the linear structure is a localized controlled process.
