Human being have been varifying means to experience all sorts of senses with the development of technology, for instance, the emergence of 4D movies which satisfy not only visual senses and the sense of hearing, but also the sense of touch and smell.4D movies have been attracting viewers ever since its advent.Viewers are mobilizing all senses to learn and experience new thing. Sense of vision, hearing, taste, smell and touch are functioning simultaneously or in turn to satisfy the viewers. When a new sense is being used, viewers are likely to be more enjoying and more impressed. " Design of olfactory experience in household goods" mainly discusses the possiblity, method and influence of using the sense of smell in designing furniture." Design of olfactory experience in household goods " offered a new approach in designing furniture and proved that in furniture designing, there were many methods and also a feasibility of experiencing the sense of smell. These methods would probably be put into practice to make real products for consumers and thus open up a market for a brand new generation of furniture and inspire more designers.
