Taking “from individual experience to common experience” as a clue,this paper takes the definition and development of site-specific art in the field of contemporary art as the research background,analyzes the causes and important events in the development of this artistic trend,and discovers the site-specific artworks.The transformation and convergence of the individual experience of artists into the common experience of the society is closely related to this artistic trend of thought.This paper also explores the presentation of artworks in the history of art development,such as how art works displayed from the wall to the ground and fade into the space,from the private space to the public space,and finally displayed from the building inside to outside,looking for a breakthrough from this process.Through artist creation,we examine the commonalities behind common experience that reflect to common experience.In the end,settled on the transformation of the small art trend of the site-specific art,explored and interpret the three characteristics of the artworks included in it,and demonstrated the process of transformation in art creation.The full text has three chapters: The first chapter briefly summarizes the concepts of the site-specific art and the concept of the site,also explores the changes and development of the site and the contemporary development trend before the emergence of this artistic trend.The secondchapter will compare the historical process of the site-changing,which discussed in the previous chapter,combined with related art events and artworks,to demonstrate how the artist's personal experience can achieve the transformation of common experience through the field in the public view.The third chapter focuses on the traits of the three important artistic creations listed in the site-specific art,and explains the creative conditions in which individual experience is transformed into common experience.
