On Sentence Mold

As a new linguistic phenomenon, sentence mold is a framework to generate a new statement, It has strong vitality and attractiveness, and it actives in the newspapers, television, Internet and other major media, which failed to attract sufficient attention from researchers. This thesis initially arranges the sentence mold on the basis of collecting language materials extensively. As far as research methods is concerned, it imploys description, analysis integrating them with explanation. Firstly it introduces sentence mold and several related concepts, such as:sentence family, mold mark, mold cavity, mold base. Then analyses the types and characteristics of sentence molds, probes the source of mold base. So that we can begin to gain an understanding of the sentence model.Next further it analyses four mold variations and three stages in semantic varying in depth.On the basis of describing and analysing,try to explain the sentence mold phenomenon with the meme theory. As a meme, entence mold is a successfull phenotype meme, which have a strong infectivity. Finally, explain the motives for the generation and popularity of sentence mold, from three regions:the internal language, cognitive aspects of psychological and socio-cultural,so we can deepen the cognition to sentence mold.
