The progress of the Marxist education in China goes through the long and difficult process. From the initial choice to open the Marxist education in China, and to continue with the integration of China's national conditions, then to create the education system with Chinese characteristics. In this process, the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Areas in the period of the Anti-Japanese War combined Marxist educational thought with China's actual conditions, established educational policy, educational system, educational content with Chinese characteristics, including the formation of the leadership education, the public education and the national Education. Used the Chinese language to interpret the true meaning of Marxist educational thought, but also the formation of the early days of the socialist education system had accumulated valuable experience. This article is divided into four parts. The first part analyzes the historical necessity of the Marxist educational in China during the Anti-Japanese War. The second part systematically investigates the educational policy and system of the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Areas during the Anti-Japanese War. The third part outlines the penetration and inheritance of the Marxist Education in the education system of the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Areas. Part IV summarizes the Marxist education system's development and innovation of the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Areas.
