This study firstly aimed to probe into the attractability of online games and explore the Online-game Attractability Theory based on the Grounded Theory, and then developed the Online-game Attractability Inventory(OAI). Secondly, By means of OAI and Chinese Internet Addiction Scale (CIAS), 892 students from 9 universities were surveyed, on purpose of exploring the relevance between the attractability of online games and Internet Addiction Disorder. Finally, the Multi-factor Model of Internet Addiction Disorder was constructed and verifyed, aiming to investigate the effect of different factors as well as their action mechanism, especially, the role of the online-game attractability in Internet Addiction Disorder of college students. Some important conclusions are suggested as follows:(1) The Online-game Attractability Inventory has excellent reliability and validity, and 9 traits constitute the attractability of online games, named freeness, vividness, rewardedness, technical, groupment, recreational, artistry, systematicness, regularity;(2) There is significant difference on CIAS among students with different OAI score. And the online-game attractability is positively related to Internet Addiction Disorder. Moreover, Internet Addiction Disorder can be significantly predicted by rewardedness, freeness and vividness, which is proved by a structural equation model;(3) The Multi-factor Model of Internet Addiction Disorder contains factors of online game, family, personality and stress, which has goodness of fit. The model reveals that the online-game attractability may serve as an intermediary variable factor to Internet Addiction Disorder.
