In 2003, the Songs and Dance Theater of Kaifeng City created the musicial drama "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival", which is orginally a famous picture in China, draw by the artist Zhang Zeduan during China's Northern Song or Earlier Song Dynasty (960-1127) .The musicial drama "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival" is a model of shifting a cultural heritage to a musicial drama, which is more attracting in nowaday society and good to promote the historical cultural heritage.The thesis focuses on the analysis of the musicial drama "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival" from the point of views of content, music creation, performing art and sculpting art.
