Demonstration Research Of Plant Images For Chuci

With beautiful diction, outstanding plant images and full of emotions,"Chuci"might be the first among our ancient literature works. To these plant images, the ancient research can be divided into two parts: one is aesthetic angle, another is textual angle. Recently the research of literature imagines appears some new changes with the conspicuous features in the fields of witchcrafts, ritual, culturology and demonstration research. However, comparing with the accuracy and diversity research for the plant of"The Book of Poem", demonstration research for the plant of"Chuci"still has large gap. So we take such a subject as our research object. We will take plant which experts have superior different views in history as a breach, using materials and knowledge of mutual subjects, with mutual angles, we will analyze and research the prototype of these plant. Hoping our results may do some helps to the name and description and culture research of Chu-kingdom, also we hope to establish a kind of methodology, which can provide bases for the subsequent research.The article has the following parts: first, roughly recall the research conditions of the plant images of"Chuci"; second, specially study the demonstration plant research works for"Chuci". Do some contracts with"The Book of Poem"on plant demonstration research situation, and analyze the season why the former was neglected for such a long time. We will see the differences between the two as independent subjects; third, take some kind of plant which is fiercely debated in"Chuci"(cassia /laurel, fragrant thoroughward /orchid and some other plant with similar name or trails )as the main investigate objects, and trying to find the prototypes of these plant. During the process of the analyzing, we will focus on different angles and method, hoping to get some results on the aspects of methodology, the textual of literature, cultural and the plant research of"Chuci", and discuss about the methodology of the empirical research. Conclusion: as a interdisciplinary, the textual research of plant for"Chuci"is worthwhile for our endeavor, for it has an immeasurable value for the related researches on cultural and folklore. But the current research has some errors more or less, which warns us should do some systematic research on the very topic. From the plant images'researches, to the demonstration research, and cultural research, especially exploring the plant culture of pre-Qin period from the traces contained in the literature works, is a weak link now in our research. Hence, strengthen the crossing mutual subjects'research of name and description, unearthed objects and folklore, will benefit a lot to our plant culture research works.
