The relationship between literature and politics which can not be severed. The scholars of southern Song as the main body in politics have distinctive political personality and strong "persons based awareness". The peace and war and the academic dispute between Song and gold were shown by parties'struggle. Li Gang, Zhaoding, Li Guang, Hu Quan as four famous officials of the Southern Song, they were politicians, thinker, and writer. In the specific historical period ,their lives closely linked with the fate of the country and the future of the nation. They insisted anti-gold, restoring the Central Plains, revitalization of national prestige and so on, oppose treacherous agreement, which showed a patriotism stern righteousness. These subtle changes of scholars have been confirmed in the four famous officials of the Southern Song Dynasty. In this paper, the poems of four famous officials are the object of study, focusing on the content of poetries and artistic expression.This article focuses on analysising the poetry of four famous officials in Gaozong period after nandu.This basic framework is divided into three parts. Firstly, introduction explains the cause and significance of topics, the basic idea proposed by this paper. Secondly, the main body of this article is divided into three chapters. Mainly reviewing the attitude of political and academic changes of four famous officials and the inheritance and development of the previous generation of poets. The artistic style of poetries are more personal characteristics and the time stamp.The first chapter reviewes the political and academic changes in the early Southern Song Dynasty and the attitudes about the peace and war and the academic dispute in the specific historical background.The second chapter discusses the poetry Content of four famous officials in the Southern Song Dynasty, especially political poetries after the political attention. So as to learn more about the attitudes about tne peace and war through concrete poems.The three Chapter reviewes the poetries'artistic expression of four famous officials in Southern Song Dynasty and makes a comparative analysis of the poetry writing style of four famous officials to obtain a representative characteristics of poetry of the Southern Song Dynasty poets.Lastly , summing up this article and proposing some ideas, at the same time, pointing out the deficiencies and limitations about this article.
