| Yang Jiang is now a well-known writer on Contemporary Literature, and a brilliant scholar, a great translator. She has many achievements such as dramas, novels, essays, translations, literary criticisms. In the 1980s, her essays were like fresh air to the Chinese literary world. Yang Jiang's essays have intellectual characteristics and are different from the literary world. After her first collection of essays, Yang Jiang has written lots of essays and was loved by the readers.Yang Jiang's essays have three identity-related: women, scholars, and the elderly. As a woman, she was concerned about their lover, friends, and even servants. She has a sensitive heart; she can understand all the people around her. As a scholar, she was well-read books. She wrote not only about human and personnel, as well as a higher level of life principles. As the elderly, she experienced not only fame but also the fortune. She can say lots of things about life. Therefore, the characteristics of Yang Jiang were three key angles in analysis of her essay.Currently, a special study of Yang Jiang's prose is not very well, Yang Jiang's position in the present essay is not clear on Contemporary Literature. In this paper, the proposed right of Yang Jiang's life and prose should be straightened out and use the relevant aesthetics, literature and art, essays theoretical analysis of the ideological content of their prose and art features.The full text is divided into five parts: the preamble is a brief Yang's literary achievements and this paper's main research direction. The first chapter describes characteristics of Yang's prose selection from the view of a female point. The second chapter analyzes the background of Yang's prose creation. The third chapter discuss her unique"dream prose". The conclusion outlines yang's great impact and significance in modern Chinese literary history.
