Nowdays Chinese people's raging passion for Training and Development has drawn experts and learners' much attention. Training and Development is a kind of learning known as " experiencing training". As a brand-new way of learning, it is based on modern education concept and meanwhile absorbs the results of education psychology, organizational behavior and other subjects related. Training and development is conducted in a way trainees interact with each other. That is, they review and exchange experience and share gains in the process of training, by which trainees can perceive from their point of view the human relations and the relationships between human and the collective, human and nature. Also, they, by training, may figure out their individual position and personal potential abilities, understand the effect of the collective power and experience the pleasure of overcoming difficulties. In this case, a kind of positive life attitude is likely to be formed, which will help to realize the trainees'migration of abilities and make them enter a virtuous circle of development.It has been proved by many experts and learners that training and development does improve people's psychological effects. As to the question " what is the best time span for the best training effects which can last longer?", the author does a research to reveal it by a case study. In this paper, such methods as questionnaire, literature and mathematical statistics are adopted to analyse the figures concerning the situation of 40 trainees from Shanghai Wenguang Group and ABB Group by means of confidence testing questionnaire and communication ability and trust quantitative tables.To be more specific, these trainees are divided into two groups---comparision group and experimental group. Both groups are given a test aimed at their confidence, communication ability, human trust and basic training situation after the first training and development. Then the experimental group is tested in the same way again after three times of training and development. At last, the comparison group accepts this kind of test once again three months after the first training and development. The comparative study about the figures collected from the tests implies that training and development has good effects on improving people's confidence, communication ability as well as human trust.In a word, the paper is designed to seek some effective methods/ways of improving people's comprehensive qualities such as physical and mental health (esp. mental health) and society adaptation, with a base on the study about training and development.
