Study On Temporary Council Of Zhejiang Province (1939-1946)

After the outbreak of the war of resistance against Japan,1938 national government has set up the highest national consultation organ named National Political Council which consisted of the kuomintang, the communist, other anti-Japanese parties and non-party represents. At the same time, other provinces and cities are required to establish temporary council. Temporary council of Zhejiang has established in March of 1939 and dismissed in September of 1946. This thesis use history materials of Zhejiang temporary council proceedings to research historical evolution, organization form, features and effects of popular will institution in war time. This paper will describe the background and basic situations of all previous congresses of Zhejiang temporary council; it will analysis the organization form, structure of all previous temporary congressmen, the relationship among government, society, people and temporary council under special history background as well; it will also discuss the operate situation of temporary council, explain characters of the evolution of temporary council from the view of media. At last it will evaluated the limited effects on the legitimate authority's significant.
