Research On The Traditional Costume Of Bargud Tribe

The Mongolian nationality Consists of many tribes. Genghis Khan united the tribes living in Mongolian grasslands and set up the great empire of Mongolia in 1206. During the eight hundreds years, each tribe has gone through great changes, of which clothes are the most typical. With the acceleration of modernization and changes of time, culture of mongolian costume is also experiencing series of changes. Since the end of last century, mongolian people seldom wore traditional costume in their daily life.It is not so optimistic to see the current situtation of mongolian costume even today. In order to inherit and carry forward the culture of mongolian costume, it is important and meaningful to do rearch on this intangible cultural heritage.Bargud tribe is one of the oldest tribes in mongolian nationality. They create their brilliant culture of costume with their talents,intelligent hands,special culture and unique aestheticsTraditional costume of Bargud tribe is called Abagaidele (the kind of garment for the married woman). The typical characters are break–in–the -waist structure, pleats in the skirt, big lantern-like balloon sleeves and so on.When we refer to the research on traditional mongolian costume, we find most people only stay at a certain period of history and summerize the current situation based on the features of the then characters of costume.This results theory doesn't meet with reality. Seeing those problems, the author endeavors to change people'impression that traditional mongolian costume keeps the same style forever.Secondly, after analyzing the traditional costume of Bargud tribe Abagaidele thoroughly , I will do more research and get a conclusion on the history , culture, current condition and development of Abagaidele.Method: From the macro-perspective, I analyze and conclude the changes of the traditional costume of Bargud tribe, at last find out the pattern of its development.The thesis concludes a certain part of interview and the combination of pictures and descriptions.Content:Traditonal mongolian costume develops and perfects itself in mongolian people's life for thousand years. Some changes take place in structure, lines, crafts, ornaments and so onThe emphasis of the thesis is the vertical comparison among different types of Abagaidele at different times from the view of structure as well as craft and the horizontal comparison with the traditional costume of Buriats Hamegendele(the kind of garment for the married woman) from the view of style, structure and craft.In order to do research on the traditional costume of Bargud tribe, we need to know its development, summerize the changes from the perspective of craft and find out the routine and theory of its evolution. It is not only to do research on, make use of and tap the potentiality of the traditional mongolian costume, but also to popularize national culture and potect grassland cultural heritage.What's more, it can provide source matericals for the system of special features of mongolian costume and grassland culture.It paves an effective way to pass on and inherit the traditional culture.
