Folk song is originated from the "human instinct" and "needs" and followed by people's heart sounds.It songs with love.It is the product of love and tone, and also it is the typical representative of lyrical art. Of course, lyricisms is the fundamental feature of all folk songs.In fact they contain narrative elements to some degree.When the text was still not common, folk song is an important channel of communication, in which circulated varieties of event information that people concerned commonly and were willing to accept. Even after the word spreaded, folk song, which as the "living history" of people, also told some memorable lives of plot or story fragments one by one in a unique way. Based on these thinking, this article is trying to break through the traditional perspective that see folk from the "lyrical", but to explore the narrative elements of folk songs.The "narrative" is a method which mainly used in fiction literary research. This article will provide a new approach for the study of folk song, and fill a new blank for the academic narrative research.This paper is trying to explore the unique narrative of folk songs by dig the narrative factors deep.It mainly drawed on the Western narrative theory, combined with folk songs of its own characteristics and took 216 Zuoquan folk for example.Full-text is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction, which discusses the purpose, the meaning and the research background of this article in main topic.It also defined the study clearly. The second part explores the narrative of the folk songs in theory from the overall. It tries to construct the framework of narrative folk songs in theory by tracing through the traditional folk narrative and analysing the process of the exchange of folk narrative and the various narrative elements.The third part describes respectively the narrator, narrative perspective and narrative recipients in the process of the exchange of folk narrative.Through the analysis and the study of 216 Zuo Quan folk songs in-depth, provide evidence for the uniqueness of the various narrative elements of folk songs. The fourth discusses some of the major folk narrative time and space.Folk creation is not only limited by the times, but also subject to geographical constraints.This section analyses its geographical and age factors from the length of time, frequency and geographical features, combined with the unique characteristics of Zuo Quan folk songs.The fifth is folk narrative techniques, which means the performance of folk songs.It includes the traditional Fu,Bi and Xing, a variety of rhetorical and dialects,Empty Words, etc.The conclusion is the summary of the study of this article.It pointed out the narrative elements in the folk indeed.Regardless of their length, the full story or not, they ingeniously uses the narrative in some ways, and reflect the unique charm of the narrative.
