A Preliminary Study On The Distribution And Humanistic Factor Of Rocky Desertification In Guizhou Province In The Qing Dynasty

Rocky desertification is a geo-ecological disaster caused by not only natural rock property and climate but also human activities. Because of this, the dissertation tries to study the distribution and humanistic factor of the rocky desertification, which can enrich the related studies. The frame work of the dissertation like this: Firstly, the dissertation analyses the feature of the rocky desertification according to the study of the modern scientist, then draws a conclusion that there is the rocky desertification in the Guizhou province during the Qing Dynasty through the research of the literature of the Qing Dynasty. Secondly, according to the modern study and the literature of the Qing Dynasty, we found out the humanistic factor of the Rocky Desertification in Guizhou province in the Qing Dynasty were the introduction of high-yielding crops, the destroying of the forest, the war and so on. This dissertation mainly analyses the high-yielding crops of corn and poppy cultivation and their environmental impact of Guizhou province, and also discussed the war and its influenc in the Guizhou province during the mid-Qing Dynasty, and so on.
