Research On The Mannagement And Influence Of Cotton Industry In Guizhou Province From The Qing Dynasty To Republic Of China

The old saying that” food and clothing live line,for the basic needs of life”.Clothes are situated on the first place,which serves to show that clothes are important to human living.Guizhou province has a lot of fiber during historical periods,since it has complex geological structure and ecosystem diversity.The scale of cotton management in Guizhou province make importance influence on people's life and social of all nationalities,and leave many literatures.Content involves introducing the process of cotton introduction,cotton industry policy pushed by government and the knowledge of all nationalities.Combing material and summarizing relevent rule make importance influence develop agricultural of mountain and build ecological civilization in Guizhou province.To illustrate this problem,this study is divided into six chapters.Chapter one analysis mainly the study cause of this topic,the general situation of the historical materials of cotton industry in guizhou before founding the People's Republic of China,and the research results of cotton collection and analysis in academic circles.Exploring the change rule conclude the shortage of previous research,which constribute to the economic development and ecological agriculture in Guizhou province today.Chapter two introduces the geographic environment in Guizhou province and the fiber type before planting cotton.Since Guizhou province located in the southwest of China has complex ecological system diversity,it has a lot of fiber types.The fiber type includes mainly Ge Ma,ceiba,ramie,silk and so on before the cotton planting scale.To enhance management about southwest in China and solve the problem of immigrants increasing,the cotton began to plant during Ming and Qing dynalist.Chapter three introduces the historical background and the scale of cotton planting industry from the Qing dynasty to the republic of China.To avoid to make food more diffcuilt than to make clothe,a lot of immigration moved into Guizhou province.The special strategic position of Guizhou province was highlighted again.Under government pushing,the cotton was planted by peopel in the large-scale.Guizhou province became the anti-japanese front support the Anti-Japanese War.The government encouraged to develop cotton production during the war of resistance.The situation that cotton was planted by people in Guizhou province became more common,which made important contribution for the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.Chapter four explains the reason of planting scale about cotton industry in Guizhou province.Since Guizhou belongs to subtropical monsoon region which is warm,humid and climate,it is not suitable for planting cotton which likes hot and dronght in a large scale.The reason pushed by government and stimulated by economic and the local knowledge accumulated by local inhabitants perfected the technology of planting cotton,which promote the scale of planting cotton.Chapter five states the influence of cotton planting scale in Guizhou province.Cotton industry in Guizhou province got large-scale management from the Qing dynasty to the republic of China,which not only sloved the problem about making clothes more difficult than making food but also sloved the requirement need by government for cotton during the Anti-Japanese War.The scale of cotton planting made far-reaching influence for keeping political stability and developing economic.Because the cotton region all over the country developed slowly,the management of cotton industry in Guizhou province made important influence to keep political stability during this time.The planting cotton in large scale brought negative influence to ecological environment of karst landform in Guizhou province,which should arouse academic concern.The last part of this paper reviews the main content and summarizes experience of management about cotton.The large scale planting of Guizhou province cotton was relevant to the background of social history.Revealing the rule,we can use the experience of history to contribute for developing agricultural and building ecological civilization.
