Researches On Lu Xixing's "Nan Hua Zhen Jing Fu Mo"

The book Nan Hua Zhen Jing Fu Mo wrote by Lu Xixing is one piece of the most prominent work studying Zhuang Zi, which plays a significant role in the study history of Zhuang Zi. In the first part of the thesis, it is the strict resoning and research which are about Lu Xixing's lifetime, family background and his circle of friends according to some ancient books and datas, so that we know what's the effect that Lu Xixing has on his writing. In the second of the thesis, from the view of Wang Yangming's philosophy of mind and Lu Xixing's religious thinking, Nan Hua Zhen Jing Fu Mo's creation settings and that how Lu Xixing's thinking effects his writing are talkes about. In Lu Xixing's time when Confucian, Buddhism and Taoism integrated, Lu Xixing tries interprets Zhuang Zi from the view of Confucian, Buddhism and Taoism, reflecting his special way of analyzing the style of Zhuang Zi. As to the explanation of school of principle, that LuXixing explains Zhuang Zi by integrating the ideology of Confucian, Buddhism and Taoism is the main feature of Nan Hua Zheng Jing. With regard to the interpretation of Zhuang Zi through Taoism philosophy, Lu Xixing thinks that Zhuang Zi explains Lao Zi and he provides dan book as the evidence. But as for interpretation of Zhuang Zi through the ideology of Buddhism, Lu Xixing regards Zhuang Zi as China's sutra, and he refers to both sutra and Zhuangzi when he reads them. Because of the effect of the way of analyzing proses in mid and late Ming Dynasty, Lu Xixing respectively gives a distinctive analysis to the structure and artistic characteristic and skeleton of Zhuang Zi, and great effecet on the later genetations is generated because of his Hua Zhen Jing Fu Mo. With thorough study of his writings and lots of concerned datas, I do a deep research on the features of Lu Xixing's way of analyzing the style of Zhuang Zi and proses in his book Nan Hua Zhen Jing Fu Mo and try to show you the value of the book.
