| Under the framework of the 2×2 achievement goals construct and with undergraduates being subjects, the present study employed questionnaires and experimental research methods to collect data in order to investigate the impact of achievement goals on task behaviors in different task situations and try to find whether worry and emotionality are the mediators between achievement goals and task behaviors or not though twcseparate studies. Results of both studies together indicateded different impact of achievement goals on task behaviors in different task situations. Conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Under different task situations, the impact of achievement goals on task behaviors have different models. At restricted time and unlimited time situations, achievement goals have different impact on task behaviors; between the success and failure situations, achievement goals have different impact on persisting in difficult task.(2) Under different task situations, the correlation of worry and achievement goals, the correlation of emotionality and achievement goals, the correlation of worry and task behaviors, the correlation of emotionality and task behaviors, are non significant. Worry and emotionality are not mediators between achievement goals and task behaviors.(3)In limited time and unlimited time, achievement goals both have no impact on choosing the difficult level of task.(4)There are no significant differences on achievement goals between the success and failure situations. There are significant differences on persisting in difficult task and worry and emotionality between the success and failure situations. Furthermore, sticking of the group in the failure situation is significantly lower than that in the success situation, but worry and emotionalty of the group in the failuresituation are significantly higher than that in the success situation. |
