The Relationship Among Creative Climate, Leadership And Creativity

For a long time, creativity has been an individual level phenomenon by psychologists. They always have been focus on the cognitive process, personality, experience of the creators. Recently, more and more researchers get to believe that the creativity is an interactional phenomenon between individuals in group or team. The creative climate plays role in creativity because of the existence of the group. So researchers realized the individual level creativity is different from the team level creativity. And the leadership is a particular mechanism in team. Therefore, the present study will examine the influence of creative climate and creativity, and explore the role of leadership.Firstly, 150 subjects were measured orderly to revise the scales. And then 309 subjects were investigated to join the formal investigation in order to explore the different influence of the three kinds of leaderships between the creative climate and the creativity. The main conclusions are as follows:1. The creative climate can predicts significantly both in individual level and team level of creativity. And the creative climate predicts team creativity is more powerful.2. There is no moderator effect in individual level about transformational leadership, just the scale of intellectual has the significant moderator effect. But the moderator effect in team level is significantly.3 There is no moderator effect in individual level about transactional leadership, and all the scales have no moderator effect at all. But the moderator effect in team level is significantly.4 There is no moderator effect in individual level and team level about passive leadership.
