The Chinese traditional culture which is very profound has a long history. It is not only the symbol of the east culture but also an important part of the world's historical cultural treasure- house. It also has made an indelible contribution to the civilization of the human society. The essence of it has played a vital role in our country and nation's development. During this period of building an advanced culture, the Chinese traditional culture can and should be an important part of it. The role of traditional culture determines its rightful place in today's society. The education and outreach of traditional culture have become important issues. Carrying forward the national spirit mainly means enhancing the cultural traditions and patriotism education and developing the national human heritage.Depending on this, the Qilu version of "traditional culture" teaching material is a "traditional culture" textbook, which is based on "the guidance for the local curriculum of traditional culture of Shan Dong compulsory education (Trial)",whose aim is to make the middle students, through the learning of this teaching material, understand the rich heritage ,promote awareness of traditional cultural values, inspire interest in studying traditional culture, improve literacy and ideological character, promote the Chinese traditional culture and build a spiritual home for the Chinese nation.A thorough reading and understanding of this material as well as good teaching strategies will make great difference on the teaching and learning process for the teachers and students.Interpreting the content, style characteristics and the modern significance of the education of the text material from the guidelines and principles of the textbook, this article focuses its exploration on the new and useful teaching methods and strategies on the basis of practice. In order to carry out the traditional culture teaching, we not only need to re-evaluate the settings of the "traditional culture" in the school curriculum, but also to deepen the teaching and research, broaden educational resources, create a good learning atmosphere and to carry out a multi-evaluation.
